About Clay Ratliff

Clay Ratliff has been called "the funniest man in his trailer park."  Hell, even people who don't live in manufactured housing will enjoy an evening of sidesplitting laughter.

Born in North Central Texas during the era of free love, drugs, and rock and roll (also known as the mid 60s) his observations of growing up in a small Caucasian town are both funny and insightful. After graduating without honors from high school, Clay went on to an undistinguished football career at an all black Texas college. His stories of being an undersized white football player (also known as a tackling dummy) are not to be missed.

After being cleared on all charges stemming from his college suspension, Clay enlisted in the United States Army and became a paratrooper (also known as an idiot). Following his discharge from the military, he returned home and has been relating his view of the world to people ever since.

His highly anticipated first CD, "Stories From The Road", was recorded at the Amarillo Comedy Club and released in the Spring of 2003 by Poonelk Records.
